Tignes Overview
Tignes is a high-altitude resort in the French Alps’ Savoie region, linked to the prestigious Val d’Isère. With elevations from 1,500 to over 3,000 metres, it offers snow-sure conditions ideal for school groups. The resort has around 150km of pistes, including 80km of beginner-friendly slopes, and access to the Grand Motte glacier at 3,456m. Excellent ski schools and nursery areas support all ability levels. Groups can upgrade to the full Tignes-Val d’Isère pass for over 300km of skiing. Off the slopes, enjoy village activities like the Lagon Aquatic Centre.
