Kitzbühel Overview
World famous Kitzbühel has a top altitude of 2000 metres and offers a vast ski area for school ski groups with a variety of runs for all levels. Kitzbühel is nestled between the Kitzbüheler Horn and Hahnenkamm which is renowned for the World Cup Downhill. The ski circuit is extensive with 54 lifts accessing 170 kilometres of well-prepared pistes. Beginners start on the nursery area on top of the Fleckalmbahn then quickly progress to other areas. There are a wide range of reds for intermediates on the Hahnenkamm and skiers can follow the ski safari from there, whilst advanced skiers also have a good choice with some great black runs on the Hahnenkamm. Kitzbühel is also a great resort for après-ski with a variety of activities on offer such as ice skating and bowling. A popular choice for school ski trips to Austria.
