La Plagne has an excellent snow record with 70% of runs above 2,000m, and an extensive 225km of piste to enjoy. A range of après-ski activities, shops and restaurants are on offer in the self-contained villages of La Plagne, so there is plenty to keep your group occupied. The resort is also at the heart of the Paradiski ski circuit, one of Europe’s largest interlinked ski areas offering a further 425km of skiing, should you wish to extend your lift pass. La Plagne also benefits from a glacier so it’s an excellent snow-sure choice for either end of the season.

Located above Plagne Montalbert, a self-contained, peaceful satellite village away from the bustle of the altitude resorts, the accommodation offers a huge variety of food options, with meals served in buffet style, with wine offered for teachers. Groups won’t have to travel for their evening entertainment either as the hotel caters for this too – enjoy a disco, karaoke, quiz night or swim at the hotel pool!

Let students improve their language skills by going to a French Language cinema, or look out for VOST for English speaking films.
Select says: Some cinemas open their doors early on bad weather days, ortherwise most screenings are in the evenings- perfect as an après ski activity! Many cinemas are located near to the resort for easy access.
Bowling

What you’ll experience: Le Bowling Bar is set up for bowling with a section of games and pool tables groups of all ages to enjoy. Sports, skiing and racing is also shown of the big screen TV’s.

Bob Experience

What you’ll experience: Experience the amazing Olympic Bobsleigh Track in la Plange- the only track in France which offers a unique and memorable activity for the whole group to enjoy! The Bob Raft is a great experience to share with friends and each sleigh holds 4 people. It is self driving, self breaking and reaches speeds of up to 80km/hr.

Ice Cave - La Plagne

What you’ll experience: An opportunity to see the fantastic ice sculptures at the top of the Bellecote Glacier. A fun experience for groups of all ages. The glacier is made up of many layers meaning the colours in the cave range from blue to green- a truly beautiful sight and not one to be missed!

Outdoor Heated Swimming Pool Bellecôte

What you’ll experience: This is a heated outdoor pool (30°C) so your group can swim at the same time as enjoying the great mountain views. This is a fuly renovated complex for greater comfort and a Scandinavian area outside. 2 saunas are also included for a magical and unforgettable experience!

Ice Skating - Bellecôte

What you’ll experience: Enjoy some open-air ice skating with your group! A great way for students to experience a different winter sport beside skiing. This natural ice rink has a section cornered off for beginners where you can enjoy skating or playing ice hockey with friends. There is also a cozy cottage so that you can take a rest and enjoy relaxing in the restaurant.
