Jasper – Marmot Basin – Alberta Overview

Great snow from November through to May, stunning scenery, quiet slopes and first class customer service are what makes Jasper a school ski trip of a lifetime. The hoteliers and mountain staff work together to do their utmost for the trip to run smoothly, whatever your group size. Ski fit is friendly and efficient, the instructor ratios are rarely above 1:10 and you will be hard-pushed to find yourself in a lift queue – even at half term! The ski area is known as Marmot Basin and covers 1,675 acres of superb slopes and is only 30 minutes from the picturesque town of Jasper. The School House Chair serves dedicated beginner territory, intermediates will enjoy green and blue runs from the top of every lift and there is plenty to challenge advanced skiers across the mountain. The resort also offer free lunchtime active learning sessions covering Avalanche Safety, GPS Geocoaching, Emergency Situations and Species at Risk so your students can also gain an understanding of the mountain environment. City stopover at Edmonton available – contact us for details.
