What you’ll experience: The Snowy Owl Inn is a lovely country inn perfectly located right next door to Waterville Valley Town Square with its selection of shops and restaurants, and only around 5 minutes by shuttle to the ski slopes. The Inn has a typical New England feel, and the team lay on a warm welcome coupled with lots of experience to meet the needs of our school group guests. Rooms: The Inn has a variety of rooms accommodating 4 students in 2 double beds and a limited number of mezzanine loft rooms for up to 6 sharing in a combination of doubles, singles and sofa beds. Staff are accommodated on a twin-share basis. Facilities: Cosy and impressive fireside lounge, spacious restaurant and bar area. Due to the configuration of the Inn, each group generally ends up with a meeting space which is conveniently located at the end of each major corridor and ideal for pre- and post- ski briefings. A continental breakfast is included, which consists of cereal, fresh doughnuts, muffins, pastries, fruit, juice, tea, coffee and hot chocolate. A hot breakfast buffet comprising of bacon, sausage, home fries, eggs and pancakes is available at a supplement. For 25/26 season the standard breakfast will include 2 cereals, bread, butter, jam, peanut butter, waffle maker, toaster, two juices, coffee, fresh fruit, plus one hot item daily (rotating between either eggs, sausage or bacon).

Black Bear Lodge

What you’ll experience: The Black Bear Lodge offers a superb standard of accommodation in the heart of picturesque Waterville Valley, around a 5 minute ride to the ski area. Centrally located, it is just a short walk to Waterville Valley Town Square with its selection of shops and restaurants. Rooms: Students are accommodated 5/6 per spacious suite, each featuring a queen bed sleeping 2 and 2 trundle beds in the bedroom, with a sofa-bed in the lounge. Staff are accommodated 2-3 per suite. Facilities: Games room, meeting room, free Wi-Fi, indoor/outdoor swimming pool, hot tub, fitness room and sauna. Meals are off-site. Breakfast is arranged up at the ski area, while evening meals are served in the nearby Waterville Valley Conference Center, a short shuttle ride away.

Indian Head Resort

What you’ll experience: The Indian Head is in a quiet location opposite the famous Indian Head Mountain, a 10 minute drive to the local town of Lincoln, 15 minutes to Loon Mountain, 10 minutes to Cannon Mountain, and 40 minutes to Waterville Valley. The Indian Head offers superb facilities for groups including indoor and outdoor heated swimming pools a games room, a lounge for discos and more. Space sells fast for half term and Easter so be sure to enquire early. Rooms: 4 students sharing 2 queen beds with en-suite bath/shower, WC, 50 inch TV, free Wi-Fi, hairdryer and telephone. If your students are not able to share beds then please contact us as there may be possibility of arranging a number of rollaway beds in the spacious rooms. Facilities: Indoor and outdoor heated swimming pools, sauna, hot tub, games room, lounge for discos and karaoke, exercise room and gift shop. Breakfasts at Indian Head are legendary, with a wide variety of hot and cold items available. Evening meals are served buffet-style, and are also plentiful and child-friendly. Groups are also treated to cookies and hot chocolate after each day on the slopes.

The Kancamagus Lodge

What you’ll experience: Ish and the rest of the Burman family know exactly what is required to make a successful UK school ski trip. Its location is brilliant, being just a 2 minute shuttle ride to Loon Mountain, 15 minutes to Cannon and 40 minutes to Waterville and having a variety of shops just opposite for those ski trip essentials. They even provide torches for groups who want to take the short walk along the roadside into Lincoln town in the evenings! Rooms: Capacity is only 100, with the majority of rooms accommodating 4 in 2 double beds, and split into two blocks of around 50 making supervision ideal for most groups. Each comfortably decorated room is complete with TV, mini fridge, ensuite bathroom and WiFi access. Facilities: Indoor heated pool, small games room with table tennis, bar area for teachers. Breakfast and dinner are served buffet style in the in-house restaurant. This is a great option for groups looking for convenience and excellent value.
