Salzburger Sportwelt Overview

Salzburger Sportwelt is the core of Ski Amadé, Austria’s largest ski paradise. The whole Amadé ski area offers an immense 860 kilometres of piste, with the Salzburger Sportwelt sector connecting several towns and villages. This includes the four valleys of Radstadt, Flachau, Wagrain and St Johann. The main access to the circuit is at Alpendorf where three chair lifts link directly, leading to a variety of excellent skiing for all abilities, with blue and challenging red runs. Groups will usually ski two or three different sectors during their week’s stay. The area has a reliable snow record, with the high slopes of Zauchensee providing early and late season snow security. There’s a great choice of evening activities for school ski groups such as bowling, ice-skating, tobogganing, and sleigh rides.
