La Plagne Overview

La Plagne has an excellent snow record with 70% of runs above 2,000m, and an extensive 225km of piste to enjoy. A range of après-ski activities, shops and restaurants are on offer in the self-contained villages of La Plagne, so there is plenty to keep your group occupied. The resort is also at the heart of the Paradiski ski circuit, one of Europe’s largest interlinked ski areas offering a further 425km of skiing, should you wish to extend your lift pass. La Plagne also benefits from a glacier so it’s an excellent snow-sure choice for either end of the season.

The hotel offers great facilities and space for groups and has two bar/pubs and a lounge area plus table tennis and a mini pool table. There is a regular shuttle bus service connecting the villages in La Plagne to allow further evening entertainment. Rooms: 43 en-suite guest rooms suitable for 2 – 4 people. Located above Plagne Montalbert, a self-contained, peaceful satellite village away from the bustle of the altitude resorts, the accommodation offers a huge variety of food options, with meals served in buffet style, with wine offered for teachers. Groups won’t have to travel for their evening entertainment either as the hotel caters for this too – enjoy a disco, karaoke, quiz night or swim at the hotel pool! Rooms: 94 en-suite rooms, 2- 4 people, with TV and accessible to reduced mobility persons on reservation. Let students improve their language skills by going to a French Language cinema, or look out for VOST for English speaking films.
Select Says: Some cinemas open their doors early on bad weather days, otherwise most screenings are in the evenings- perfect as an après ski activity! Many cinemas are located near to the resort for easy access.

What you’ll experience: Always a popular option, Le Bowling Bar also has an arcade to entertain groups of all ages. Sports, skiing and racing is also shown of the big screen TV’s.
Select Says: The bowlng alley is open from 16:00-2:00 and from 14:00 on bad weather and during the school holidays. Located at Belle Plagne, groups will take the free shuttle bus to Plagne Bellecote and then enjoy a nighttime gondola ride to access the pedestrianised village of Belle Plagne!

Ice Skating – Bellecôte

What you’ll experience: Enjoy some open-air ice skating with your group! A great way for students to experience a different winter sport beside skiing. This natural ice rink has a section cornered off for beginners where you can enjoy skating or playing ice hockey with friends. There is also a cozy cottage so that you can take a rest and enjoy relaxing in the restaurant.

Outdoor Heated Swimming Pool Bellecôte

What you’ll experience: This is a heated outdoor pool (30°C) so your group can swim at the same time as enjoying the great mountain views. This is a fuly renovated complex for greater comfort and a Scandinavian area outside. 2 saunas are also included for a magical and unforgettable experience!
