What you’ll experience: CIS Éthic Étapes in Val Cenis is a basic, group-friendly accommodation with a welcoming, eco-conscious focus—ideal for school groups. It offers a large restaurant and communal spaces like a library, TV room, and disco hall. Guests enjoy direct slope access in peak season, with lifts a short walk away and free shuttles to nearby villages. With its sustainable ethos and community feel, it provides a base for mountain adventures. Rooms: Various types of accommodation available in main building, rooms sleep 2-4 people and some have private facilities. Apartments in 2 chalet buildings (please note these have external corridors) sleep 4-6 people with 2 twin rooms and a sofa bed with pull out bed underneath in living room. Facilities: Bar, restaurant, disco room, wellness centre (teachers only). Buffet breakfast and 3 course lunch and dinner. Limited wine for teachers. There is a set menu served at this accommodation with focus on organic local products and communal dining. Please note, this accommodation does not cater to allergies or special menu plans so an outside caterer is sometimes used for this.

What you’ll experience: A great way to relax tired muscles after a long day on the slopes. This fun evening activity includes a sauna area with water lagoons, underwater recliners with massage jets and a Mediterranean garden. It also includes a saltwater pool, waterslides including the first ever double loop slide and a speedy Formula 1 slide, an adventure playground, fun stream pool with a large pirate ship, and a large sports pool for lengths, competitions and technique training.
Select Says: Opening hours until 19:30 from Tuesday to Sunday. Located approximately 30 minutes from the resort. Please note that 1 adult per 8 children must also be present during this activity.

What you’ll experience: Bowling in Alpe d’Huez offers school groups a fun and lively après-ski activity that’s perfect for all abilities. The bowling alley provides a relaxed, social setting where students can enjoy some friendly competition off the slopes. With music, snacks, and a welcoming atmosphere, it’s a great way for groups to bond, unwind, and round off an active day in the mountains.
Select Says: The bowlng alley is open from 16:00-2:00 and from 14:00 on bad weather and during the school holidays. Located at Belle Plagne, groups will take the free shuttle bus to Plagne Bellecote and then enjoy a nighttime gondola ride to access the pedestrianised village of Belle Plagne!
