Zillertal
Zillertal Overview
The Zillertal ski area has an impressive top altitude of 3250 metres and offers extensive, snow-sure conditions for your school ski trip to Austria with the benefit of the Hintertux Glacier. Your school ski trip includes the Zillertaler Superskipass valid for all 179 lifts serving four extensive ski areas: Hochzillertal - Hochfügen – Spieljoch, which includes Kaltenbach and Fugen; Zillertal Arena, which stretches from Zell am Ziller via Gerlos to Wald-Königsleiten and Krimml-Hochkrimml; Mayrhofner Bergbahnen, which includes the Ahorn and Penken in Mayrhofen and Hippach/Ramsau; Ski & Gletscherwelt Zillertal 3000 which includes the Hintertux Gletscher, Eggalm, Rastkogel and Penken. This gives a vast 515 kilometres of well-groomed piste to explore with especially good provision for your intermediate and beginner skiers. This area is well-loved by school groups for its traditional Tyrolean villages, and this, balanced with excellent skiing and a great choice of evening activities, makes it a superb new addition to the Select School Skiing programme.
